Love Island Star Won't Be Appearing On Christmas Special For A Sad Reason

Rosie Williams won't be appearing on this year's Love Island Christmas reunion as she is too 'anxious' about seeing Adam Collard again.

It has been reported that Love Island star Rosie Williams won't be appearing on the eagerly anticipated Christmas reunion show because she is so scared of seeing ex-love interest Adam Collard.

Rosie was dumped by Adam on the show after the arrival of his now girlfriend Zara McDermott, just hours after they had taken their relationship to the next level.

The break up didn't go that smoothly with Adam being accused of emotional abuse after he appeared to laugh in Rosie's face when he broke up with her.

It has been reported that the 26-year-old was offered a "lot of money" to make an appearance but refused because of her "anxiety" over seeing Adam.

A friend told The Sun Online: "Rosie has refused to go on the show. ITV begged her to go back and offered her a lot of money because they want to see the reaction between her, Adam and Zara.

"But she doesn't want to be put in that situation again. Rosie tends to downplay it a lot, but what happened on Love Island had such a negative effect on her anxiety.

"She wasn't herself during the show, so when her friends heard there was a Christmas special they were praying she wouldn't go anywhere near him out of fear for her mental health.

"Her decision not to do it is down to the anxiety she had during her time in the villa and she doesn't want to go back to that."

Rosie is currently all loved up with her new man and a representative for Rosie said it wouldn't make much sense for her to go on the show.

They said: "She's really happy in her new relationship, so it wouldn't make sense for her to go on Love Island."

The exact date when the reunion will be shown on our screens hasn't yet been released but the cast and Caroline Flack are currently filming the show.

Love Island winners Jack and Dani and finalists Wes and Megan are all confirmed to be taking part in the reunion.

We also can't wait to find out how the estranged couples Laura and Paul, Georgia and Sam and Ellie and Charlie will react as they come face to face once again.

Samira, Dr Alex, Alexandra, Kendall, Hayley and Eyal are also back to update on whether they've had more luck in love outside the villa.
