Love Island's Maura Higgins is left "raging" on Monday's show when she learns she will have to compete for the attention of new Islander Tom Walker after he admits to fancying both her and Elma Pazar.

The Longford native was left devastated on Sunday night's recoupling when the object of her affections, Tommy Fury, chose love rival Molly-Mae Hague over her.

In the wake of her disappointment, Maura was asked on a date by model Tom, who she appeared to hit things off with.

But after returning from their date alongside Anna Vakili and newbie Jordan Hames, the pair sit down with the rest of the Islanders at the fire pit, when Tom reveals he would also like to get to know Elma, who just coupled up with Anton.

In the teaser, viewers watch as the Irish ring girl sees red after the girls ask Elma in the dressing whether she wants to get to know Tom, which leaves Maura an absolute picture.

Elma laments: "He's a really nice boy. I'd get on with him. Yeah you can't really rule anything out in here."

Venting her frustrations to pal Lucie, Maura fumes: "What annoys me the most though is she's coupled up with Anton, she has the chance, but I'm not coupled up with anyone.

"Do you know what I haven't had the chance to couple up with anyone."

Adding: "She's meant to be my f***ing friend. I'm going to have to fight for him as well."

As the camera pans to her in the Beach Hut, Maura continues her furious rant and admits her unlucky attempts at love have "destroyed" her confidence.

"Talk about destroying my confidence. I'm f***ing raging," she adds.

Watch the drama unfold from one minute forty-five seconds.

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
