Last night's Love Island was one of the most explosive to date as viewers watched the fallout of Jordan Hames' decision to pull India Reynolds for a chat, despite asking Anna Vakili to be his girlfriend earlier this week.

And while the 24-year-old showed a complete lack of respect towards Anna, Islanders Tommy Fury, Greg O'Shea, Chris Taylor and Ovie Soko valiantly called Jordan out for his actions and successfully restored fans' faith in men on this year's instalment.

Speaking in the aftermath, Tommy, 20, questioned Jordan's motives to pull India for a chat before discussing his feelings to Anna.

Echoing what many were thinking at home, the boxer, who later branded him a "laughable man", remarked: "Anybody that has the right to know how you feel is your girlfriend first, not some strange woman."

Can we have a round of applause for Tommy please?

Following Tommy's lead, Irish rugby player Greg was as confused as us by Jordan's thought-process to crack onto another woman infront of his girlfriend.

The level-headed Islander said to Jordan and Curtis Pritchard: "Did you tell him to have a chat with India without talking to Anna? What was your thought process behind that?"

Greg later discussed the confrontation with partner Amber Gill and admitted he was in disbelief (like viewers) about how Jordan handled the whole situation.

"Like, you should talk to your girlfriend first even if she kicks off," he lamented. "Look it, I think Jordan realises that he went about it wrong. I can't believe this has happened."

As tensions remained high, Chris cornered Jordan in the bedroom the following day and admitted he didn't condone his behaviour.

"I mean it takes massive b*llocks to do what you've done but I think you really should have done it in a better order... Listen mate I still love you and I'll back you but last night I couldn't back you."

And waiting in the wings was Anna's former love interest Ovie, who took Jordan aside and continued to be to be the epitome of chill as he shared his opinion.

It wasn't only the boys who came out in support of Anna but also the villa's girls, who immediately gave her love she needed in the wake of the shock.

Going above and beyond, Maura proved her loyalty to her pal by sleeping on the daybeds with her as she tried to give her self-esteem a boast following Jordan's actions.

The Irish native said: "You came in there a strong woman and you're going to leave a strong woman". Yes Maura!

The stellar showing of support had viewers at home taking to Twitter to weigh-in on the scenes and applaud the male Islanders for calling Jordan out.

One penned: "Let's hear it for Greg, Tommy & Chris, the three guys who in the face of all the sh*t pulled by the f*ckboys in that villa, have helped women keep faith that there are true gentlemen still around.

"Bravo for not putting up with Jordans bull & calling him out on it".

"This Fierce lady friendships is the best where you aggressively believe in each other, defend each other and think the other deserves the world. Love their friendship! Maura,Molly Mae, Amber and Anna," another commented.

We have to agree - what a show of support.
