This year's Love Island has been packed with PDA, but it seems like fans have had enough of hearing the islanders lock lips.

Throughout the series, viewers have been begging producers to turn off the contestants' mics as they can't stand hearing the snogging up close and personal.

Yep, we might like to see the budding relationships grow stronger but we definitely don't want to hear their tongues squelching and slurping.

Fans of the ITV2 reality dating show have taken to Twitter to complain about the kissing noises, asking the producers to switch off the Islanders' microphones while they smooch, with some even starting their own petitions.

"Wish to GOD they would turn the mics off while kissing," fumed one person who was sickened by the noises.

While another viewer echoed: "Petition for Love Island producers to turn the fucking mics off during kissing scenes I cannot take this anymore DISGUSTANG [sic]."

"Can they please turn off the mics when there kissing in Love Island I beg," added a third.

And a final summed up: "Dear Love Island, Please turn the mics off when people are kissing Yours Sincerely, the whole of the UK."

Tweets from disgusted fans have continued to pour in throughout the series:

Unfortunately for viewers, it looks like tonight's episode is going to be FULL of snogging noises (unless producers take on board the complaints).

A short preview for Tuesday's ep saw Liverpudlian firefighter Michael Griffiths KISSING new girl Joanna Chimonides in the villa, while Curtis Pritchard might make a play for Jourdan Raine. Yikes.

There's soon going to be a recouping when all the Islanders return for the villa to see who has been loyal and who has strayed. Expect plenty of tears!

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
