Love Island 2018: Danny Dyer Defends Daughter On Good Evening Britain

Danny Dyer appeared on a one-off special of Good Evening Britain on Thursday night, and shut down Piers Morgan while defending his daughter, Dani...

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks, you'll know that hard man Danny's daughter, also called Dani, is currently all shacked up in the Love Island villa.

As per, Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has been pretty vocal about the fact that he pretty much hates the show and everything it stands for.

But while Piers has clashed with the most recent dumped Islanders over their decision to sign up to the hit reality dating series, it seemed like he did a U-turn in his opinions on Thursday evening...

Rather than grilling the EastEnders actor over his daughter's most recent TV gig, Piers quickly apologised, saying: "We've got Danny Dyer here.

"Now, Danny, before we go any further, you may have been led to believe from social media that I've spent the last three weeks calling every contestant on Love Island a bunch of brain dead zombies.

"And obviously, I would like to clarify, that obviously doesn't include anybody in the villa who is called Dani Dyer.

"Which I believe is your daughter. There has been a terrible mistake.

"She is a shining oasis of intelligence and beauty and grace."

Daddy Dyer wasn't having any of Piers' apology though, replying: "Yeah just stop talking Piers.

"Just talking, just talking, just rambling on."

While the soap star insisted that he was proud of his daughter in the villa, Danny did admit to 'struggling at first'.

He explained: "What she has done is she has proved that you can be a decent girl with self-respect and not be rolling around under the bed sheets.

"I think they have to tick certain boxes and she has spun it on her head."

Danny also expressed fears for his potential son-in-law Jack Fincham, saying that he's worried whether the smiley stationary salesman will be able to cope with fame outside of the villa.

Hopefully his new in-laws will be able to teach him a few tricks then.
