Love Island 2018: Jonny Mitchell Claims Dumped Islanders Are 'Kept Hidden In Secret Villa'

The Love Island villa is full of plenty of secrets, whether that's hilarious moments not shown on camera or beef between Islanders that we never knew existed.

But former Islander Jonny Mitchell, who starred in the 2017 series, has just claimed that there's actually a second hidden villa (no, it's not Casa Amor).

Islanders, who have been dumped from the show by either the public or their fellow contestants, are kept in a "lockdown villa in the middle of nowhere", said Jonny.

When the eviction isn't live, Jonny claimed that the Islanders are sent off to a different, completely secret home to make sure that their eviction isn't leaked.

Just like with the original villa, mobiles and laptops are banned, and Jonny said that he was kept on lockdown for two days with a chaperone.

He told HuffPost UK: "I got unlucky. You still don't have any real concept of what's happened but I had a pretty good idea of what was going on because I had a good chaperone, he was feeding me bits of information."

Jonny added: "It's boring, there's nothing to do there. I'd just had five weeks of sunbathing so I didn't really want to do anymore. I was going out of my mind a little bit."

While he failed to find love in the villa, Jonny is now engaged to model Danielle Zarb-Cousin, with the reality star getting down on one knee earlier this year in May.

Inside the villa, Jonny sparked up a short-lived romance with the nation's sweetheart, Camilla Thurlow, but then ended things with her for Tyla Carr, who is now expecting her first baby with her boyfriend Ross.

Jonny ruffled a few feathers while on the show, with the reality star claiming that he was told by producers to go after Amber Davies, despite her being coupled up with now ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay.
