It feels like no time since Rachel was rushed into hospital only to experience the longest, most grueling pregnancy before giving birth to her and Ross' beautiful baby girl, Emma.

We carefully followed Ross and Rachel's relationship from knowing each other as kids to dating for her first time, to being 'on a break' (Ross's words - not mine), to falling pregnant with Emma and to Rachel finally getting off the plane.

It's a real emotional roller-coaster that we've lived with them time and time again so it's easy to forgot that Emma was born into the sitcom a whopping 16 years ago. Yep, that makes us feel ancient too.

The little baba who played Ross and Rachel's first child together was actually a set of twins called Cali and Noelle Sheldon and they recently celebrated their 16th birthday.

Obviously it goes without saying that Cali and Noelle look pretty different since their days playing baby Emma because, you know, they're not babies anymore.

The twins admitted that it was quite cool to grow up and learn that they played a part in one of the most famous sitcoms in the world.

Noelle previously told Bustle: "A lot of people in our school watch it, and most of them know we were in it, so they think that's pretty cool."

The twins' mum, Gretchen Sheldon, added: "Everyone was really, really nice to Noelle and Cali, and treated them like little princesses on the set.

"Friends filmed before a live audience, and Cali and Noelle would come out, and they would be waving and engaging with the live audience. It was a lot of fun."
