GBBO Viewers Horrified Over 'Most Disgusting Moment Ever'

Great British Bake Off viewers were left horrified and confused after watching Jon Jenkins down a jug full of egg whites.

Just like a scene from Rocky, Jon picked up the jug of egg whites left over from his crème patisserie mixture and downed them without even flinching.

Jon says that he never lets egg whites go to waste because of the protein in them, but we're not sure even that could convince us to down a jug full of them...

Before downing the stomach-churning mix, he said: "When you finish separating your eggs, you've got these lovely egg whites, and never let them go cos there's good protein in them."

Then just to let us know how much he enjoyed them he let out a satisfied "Mmmm" while placing the jug down.

Of course, viewers took to Twitter to express their horror at what they had just witnessed.

One user said: "Why is no one talking about the fact that jon just downed raw egg whites on national television."

Another added: "Going to take the fact that Jon just scoffed down some raw eggs on national TV as confirmation of my lifelong philosophy that you can and should always lick the bowl when baking [sic]."

A final user wrote: "No chance you would catch me swigging egg whites, no matter how desperate I was to win."

After a not-so-successful pastry week, Dan Beasley-Harling was asked to leave the tent, however he became a style icon after his choice of t-shirt impressed viewers.

Dan managed to become a style icon after he wore a 'trés butch' t-shirt.

Viewers labelled the t-shirt, which has a giant winking ice cream on it, 'the best thing they've ever seen', and we agree.

The t-shirt can be bought from online store Swish Embassy for roughly £23.50 ($29.95), and it will make you look 'trés chic'.

Viewers praised the baker's choice of clothing on Twitter.

One wrote: "omfg Dan is wearing a très butch t-shirt. I am SREAMING #gbbo [sic]."

Another added: "I think Dan should get Star Baker just for his Tres Butch t shirt". A third user simply called the t-shirt 'iconic'.
