WATCH: GMB Viewers 'Shocked' As Camera Zooms In On Carol Vorderman's Chest

Good Morning Britain viewers were left stunned after the show's cameras accidentally got up close and personal with guest Carol Vorderman...

The former Countdown co-host was appearing on the show to discuss her cancelled solo world flight, but it was the awkward zoom that got fans talking on social media.

As Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan introduced the star, who was sat beaming backstage, to the audience at home, it seems like someone was a little too keen with the zoom button.

While it was most likely an accidental equipment blunder, it didn't stop viewers from blasting the awkward gaffe from the comfort of their own sofas on Twitter.

"Carol Vorderman boob close up!! ," declared another.

And a fourth questioned: "What was with that extreme close up of Carol Vordeman's chest? ."

Speaking about her cancelled solo flight around the world, Carol told Susanna and Piers: "I was doing a rehearsal in March last year on the North Atlantic route - Iceland, Greenland, Goose Bay in Canada, go around the perimeter of America and back again - with a co-pilot.

"In Iceland, we got held by by the weather. Even the airliners couldn't land.

"And a couple of days later my mum was in a lot of pain so I rushed her to hospital. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died in June last year."

Carol still hopes that she will complete it though, as she added: "When I'm 60 in three years' time is probably when I'll do it."
