Former Love Island star Charlie Frederick has slammed this year's newest contestant Arabella Chi, claiming they were in a relationship shortly before she joined the show and that she kept her appearance a secret from him.
Charlie posted a series of Instagram Stories this afternoon sharing his shock at seeing the blonde model walk into the villa at the end of last night's episode.
The former contestant, who also counts surfer Lucie Donlan as an ex, also commented on one of Arabella's Instagram posts calling her "sly as f***.
However, doubt has been cast over Charlie's claims after it was revealed that Lucie immediately recognised Arabella as 'my ex's ex' - suggesting their relationship went further back than Charlie suggested.

Charlie started his rant with a post saying: "Wow @loveisland you wanna have my f****** life anymore?!!! Both my exes in the villa f****** madness."
More posts followed in which he accused the 28-year-old of lying about her role in the show.
"Right so this is an absolute madness for me. Finding out that a person I'm seeing/have a lot of feelings for. On a serious level has just strolled into the villa completely disregarding my feelings and our relationship or what we had."

"I feel like I have to air these screen shots because I feel like I've completely been mugged off. I'm truly upset that Arabella has lied to me about what she was doing and claiming she had a campaign but instead actioning going into Love Island.
"And like any relationship we had our ups and downs... I'm truly gutted and cannot for the life of me figure out what she had done this, [sic]" Charlie continued, claiming the pair had been seeing each other as recently as a fortnight ago.
Newbie Arabella is set to shake things up in the villa; the model has starred in a film with Hollywood's Jason Momoa, modelled for Roberto Cavalli and is pals with former contestant Montana Brown.

Islanders were left stunned by her arrival last night, with Amy fretting that she looked like a 'supermodel' and Anton keen to make a good impression.
