RuPaul's Drag Race UK has just teased a clip from the first episode of the debut series - and it's done nothing but get us even MORE excited for 3rd October when the show drops.

In the clip, we get a first look at Mama Ru's runway as the show's title queen tries it on for size, giving a classic strut down its length.

Later, Ru and her BFF and fellow judge Michelle Visage reel off some classic British stereotypes ("Fancy a crumpet?") and attempt some questionable accents - hey, we're not mad!

In the clip from the first episode, we also get a first glimpse at the judges: Ru's sidekick Michelle, chat show host Alan Carr (who will be rotating with Graham Norton week-by-week) and the first guest judge, Spider-Man's Andrew Garfield.

As the weeks go by, the panel will be joined by different guest judges including Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, Spice Girl Geri Horner, Chewing Gum creator Michaela Coel, Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall, pop star Cheryl and 60s supermodel Twiggy. What a line-up!

The show, exclusive to BBC Three, will be available weekly from 8pm every Thursday on BBC iPlayer.

This week, we've been getting teasers about what's to come including details on the all-important British queens - and it's quite the cohort.

Here are the queens battling to show off their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.

Divina DeCampo

The 35-year-old from West Yorkshire promises the audience an array of different things including opera, Italian aria, pop and more.

"I like things that are a bit more challenging or exciting that makes people say 'oh my god, I wasn't expecting that,'" she says.

"My style of drag is old school glamour. A sequin dress, a big wig, a big lash, an approximate face."

BBC

The Vivienne

The 27-year-old from Liverpool calls her style a scouse wife who came into money, moved to LA and blew it all. Sounds relatable.

"Comedy is definitely my trump card," she says. "My favourite trick in drag is my vocal impersonations so I do everyone from Kim Woodburn, Cilla Black, Donald Trump - you name it, I'll do it - for the right price!"

"I'm here to win the crown of the first ever RuPaul's Drag Race UK, so bring it on!"

BBC

Baga Chipz

Cruella De Vil in a wig, this 29-year-old 'tart with a heart' from London calls her style more cabaret, old school with sequin frocks. Think Shirley Bassey meets Lily Savage.

She says her greatest strengths are her comedy and wit - "put me on a stage and I will entertain the absolute shite out of the room."

"Im not one of these gorgeous beautiful Kate Moss lookalike drag queens," she says. "Like someone's auntie I give advice on how to pull fellas and how to get pissed."

Sounds like we're going to like her.

BBC

Cheryl Hole

The 25-year-old plans to bring Essex glamour with a touch of showgirl to the stage - vajazzle included. "Everything's got a bling, a touch of vajazzle but a real girl at heart," she says. "I like to play up the Essex stereotype and really incorporate that into my drag,"

"I'm a dancing diva, I'm known for my dance moves, death drops and pure entertainment and that's what you want from a drag queen, isn't it?" she asks. Yes, it is!

BBC

Crystal

The 34-year-old from London calls herself a 'gender bending, mess-with-your-brain kinda drag queen who can put on a freak show. "I can crack a whip, put cigarettes out on my tongue - it's nothing you have ever seen before."

"I'm unique as a drag performer because I'm not afraid to think outside the box and create looks, concepts, acts and performances that challenge and excite," she says.

She says her creative mind is her biggest strength, so expect to see some pretty unique experiences!

BBC

Vinegar Strokes

The 34-year-old from London specializes in stand-up comedy and singing, calling herself Tina Turner meets Lizzo meets Kat Slater. "I am a straight up comedy queen, I do stand-up comedy, I sing in my own particualr style."

A working class girl who wears her heart on her sleeve, "it's really important to me because we live in an age where so many want to be something else and actually it's great to celebrate who you are."

We couldn't agree more.

BBC

Sum Ting Wong

The 30-year-old from Birmingham plans to blow the crowd away with her amazing singing voice.

"My drag comes from singing," she says. "I was a little emo kid at 12 years old and I loved to sing. I can't be a singer out of drag. I am a Chinese male who's overweight and losing his hair. I'm never gonna make it like that so drag helped me."

BBC

Scaredy Cat

The youngest of the bunch - and the youngest queen ever on the show, the 20-year-old from Wiltshire is calls herself very pink, very cute and very feline-esque. "It's very camp, exciting, colourful and bold. Cute, pink and scared - like a nervous flamingo."

"When I'm not in drag I'm a student so this is where my student loan is going. I'm wearing it right now," she explains. Sounds like the perfect way to spend it to us!

BBC

Gothy Kendoll

Dark, contemporary and striking, the 21-year-old from Leicester brings out a darker side to drag with black wigs and make-up.

"My names comes from my friend who described me as a Ken doll but a gothy one because I used to wear loads of black, have really black hair, but also be tanned and wear loads of makeup!" she explains.

BBC

Blu Hydrangea

The 23-year-old from Belfast says she's like "a GCSE art project, high fashion from outer space, a cartoon character - with muppet realness", and promises to make up laugh with her funny movements.

"One day I might be a beautiful lady and the next I might be a pineapple," she says.
