Emily Atack Takes On The First Bushtucker Trial In Tonight's I'm A Celeb

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has shared a teaser preview of tonight's instalment which will see Emily Atack take on the first Bushtucker trial of the series.

Emily has been tasked with the Viper Pit in which she must retrieve stars from boxes filled with snakes, while show hosts Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby grimace from the sidelines.

And at one point, an angry snake sinks its teeth into the Inbetweeners actress' hand as she tries to grab the star:

"Just be really gentle, you might just have to move him along slightly," the This Morning presenter suggests to Emily.

While Emily seems to keep her cool while trying to work out the best plan of action, Holly screams as she watches on with Dec.

The preview clip was shared on Twitter, along with the caption: "Trial Tease: @EmAtack has been thrown into The Viper Pit for the first Bushtucker Trial of the series.

"Will she slither away with enough stars for her new Campmates?"

Twitter users laughed at the preview, poking fun at Holly for screaming louder than Emily.

"Holly is going to be worse than the contestants for screaming," announced one.

And another I'm A Celeb fan declared: "Forget Holly she had the easy part, all praise to Em for having the bottle to keep putting her hand back in."

If the past challenges are anything to go by, Emily must retrieve as many of the stars as possible to ensure that herself and the rest of the campmates can eat tonight. Whether she manages to get any of them at all remains to be seen.

Before she headed into the jungle, the actress revealed she was terrified of jungle critters and creepy crawlies meaning she might struggle in the Viper Pit.

I'm A Celeb continues on ITV tonight at 9pm.
