Disney just casually dropped the highly anticipated trailer for Frozen 2. You can watch it here:

The two minute-long trailer sees Princess Elsa, her sister Anna, snowman Olaf, Kristoff and his reindeer companion Sven all back together to adventure through the wilderness. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad are all back to voice the characters.

And the new trailer also reconfirms that we can expect Frozen 2 to hit cinema screens in November this year, making it six years between the two films.

Disney's preview at the second instalment of the beloved children's animation doesn't have any dialogue from the characters meaning it's unclear what the plot for this new movie will be.

The original storyline, which took inspiration from Hans Christian Anderson's The Snow Queen, introduced fans to two very different princesses living in the fictional land of Arendelle.

The Kingdom becomes trapped in a continuous winter, and Anna joins forces with Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find Snow Queen Elsa to break her icy spell.

Disney's new trailer released today (Wednesday, 13th February) sees five of the beloved characters battling icy conditions, before being reunited in front of a beautiful backdrop. Where that might be remains to be seen.

Co-director Chris Buck previously said that the new movie will see the next steps Anna, Kristoff and Olaf, but there's also going to be some huge changes for Elsa.

Chris told Fandango: "[In Frozen] she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she's just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again.

"That's what was really good about the short [2015's Frozen Fever] - we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality... you will see in the next one."

Frozen 2 will hit UK cinemas on 22nd November 2019.
