This is not a drill. We repeat: this is not a drill. Following this week's dramatic recoupling, Craig David has been confirmed to make his Love Island debut on Sunday night's episode.

But sadly the 38-year old singer-songwriter hasn't been sent in as a late-coming Islander to "turn heads", he's actually been booked for a special Ministry of Sound party.

With even the strongest couples in tatters, let's hope he can ease some tension with his smooth beats after a rollercoaster week.

Perhaps the biggest bombshell to enter the villa this year, the 'Fill Me In' singer is apparently a big fan of the show, with a spokesperson telling Mirror Online: "After a tense week involving that explosive recoupling after Casa Amor, it's time for the Islanders to let their hair down and enjoy his DJ set - with TS5 - in scenes that will air in Sunday night's show."

This isn't the first time a celebrity DJ has entered the Love Island villa - Tom Zanetti made a surprise appearance last season when he rocked a DJ set at a raucous pool party. And he even ended up coupled up with one of the Islanders.

Tom enjoyed a brief relationship with Liverpudlian Hayley Hughes, who he dated until January this year. Hayley told fans when their romance ended: "I believe the most important relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves. I wish him all the best."

Anyway, with teasers from tonight's episode showing Maura saying she fancies Curtis, calling him "manly" and saying she wants him to teach her how to dance, we're sure he'll be looking for any excuse to show off some of those moves.

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
