Stacey Solomon was all of us today when she tried to contain her excitement as the Backstreet Boys taught her how to dance.

Let's be honest, we all dream of the day we finally meet the bands whose posters decorated our bedroom walls, and we all know how giddy we would be if it actually happened.

Well today was that day for Stacey, as she met 90s boy band Backstreet Boys during their appearance on Loose Women.

Stacey declared that the day was 'the highlight of her life', and considering she's had two children, that's a pretty big but relatable claim to make.

During today's episode, the group got the panel up to teach them a few of their signature moves, and Stacey was well up for it.

There was no hiding her grin as she met her childhood heroes, and she managed to get herself in prime position for a lesson from AJ, Brian and Nick, while Howie and Kevin 'judged' their efforts.

After the dance lesson, the band performed their classic hit 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back)'.

The band are currently promoting their comeback single Don't Go Breaking My Heart, and also revealed why it had taken them five years to release a single.

Kevin joked that they had 'slowed' in their 'old' age. He explained: "[We've been] busy, y'know, with our families and our kids. We also have a Las Vegas residency that we've been doing as well."

Stacey and fans will also be happy as it sounds like Backstreet's really back as they will be touring next year.

It really is an amazing time for boy band fans fans, as Westlife also recently announced a comeback album and tour, six years after they split.

Shane Filan confirmed the band's comeback, announcing: "We genuinely missed each other and missed the buzz of performing on stage together to all our fans.

"We still have a lot that we want to achieve as a band and we want to bring our new music to fans all over the world."

Nicky Byrne added: "While we were away, we realised what Westlife really meant to the fans - and to us."
