X Factor judge Ayda Field has revealed that she was almost cast as Penny in The Big Bang Theory, but lost out to actress Kaley Cuoco.
That's right, The Big Bang Theory could've been very different and Penny could've been married to Robbie Williams (well, kind of).
Ayda revealed that she made it to the later stages of casting, but couldn't quite get her maths, science, and history skills right.
She said: "I tested against Kaley Cuoco for The Big Bang Theory. Not getting that hurts. And you read articles like, 'Highest-paid actress in television'."

Let's not forget that Kaley was reportedly paid £765,000 ($1 million) per episode so we completely understand why that hurts.
The American sitcom is due to come to an end after it's 12th season, and Kaley has already expressed how heartbroken she is.
The 32-year-old actor, took to Instagram to share her heartache for the loss of the show with her followers.

She said: "This ride has been a dream come true and as life changing as it gets. No matter when it was going to end, my heart would have always been broken in two. Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the best season yet."
Along with a cute group shot of the cast, she added: "To the fans, our crew, families, Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers, CBS, and everyone who has supported us for so many years, thank you. We are goin out with a bang @bigbangtheory_cbs."
Meanwhile, Ayda has been busy on The X Factor along with her hubby Robbie Williams.

The couple welcomed a third baby into their family in September through surrogate and announced the arrival of Colette 'Coco' Josephine Williams with an adorable picture on Instagram.
Robbie has also been open about the realities of being a parent, and it looks like he is fully embracing being a dad-of-three.
He took to his Instagram page, to share a snap of himself after his kids got hold of him with a pot of nail polish.
Robbie showed off a set of turquoise, pink and white nails styled by oldest daughter, Theodora.

He captioned the funny snap: "Daddy duties," adding a shrugging shoulders emoji to his post.
Robbie's wife, Ayda, shared the same image to her own feed, adding: "Teddy gave @robbiewilliams a Mani/Pedi today. What do you think? #daddysecretelylovesit #instafun #familytime [sic]."
Ayda and Robbie share three children together, Teddy, six, Charlton, three, and Collete, who is almost seven weeks old.
