Amanda Holden Rumoured To Be Replacing Holly Willoughby On This Morning

Amanda Holden is rumoured to be replacing Holly Willoughby on This Morning as the presenter heads to Australia to co-host I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! with Declan Donnelly later this year.

Holly will be taking time out from the ITV daytime show following the confirmation that she will be stepping in for Ant McPartlin in the Australian jungle.

Bookmakers have now placed former Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda as the front runner to take over from Holly.

Amanda has presented the show a number of times before alongside both Phillip Scholfield and Rylan Clark-Neal.

So far, Amanda has odds of 2-1 meaning she beats Mollie King, Scarlett Moffatt and even This Morning host Ruth Langsford, who presents the show on Fridays with her hubby Eamonn Holmes.

However, no official announcement has been made by ITV bosses over who will replace Holly.

Explaining why Amanda is the most popular choice for This Morning, a spokesperson for Coral said: "Amanda stepped in for Holly back in 2014 when she was on maternity leave and she's our favourite to help Phillip once again whilst Holly goes into the jungle.

"Mollie King is another in the mix and as a hugely popular figure at the moment would certainly go down well with the viewers, whilst we rate the likes of Scarlett Moffat, Stephen Mulhern and Caroline Flack as outsiders for this particular gig."

Following the announcement that she will be joining Dec in the jungle, Holly said in a statement: "I couldn't be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.

"These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit."

She added: "Honestly, I'm a huge fan of I'm A Celebrity and actually feel like I've won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show.

"When is it a good time to tell Dec I'm scared of everything that moves?"

Ant is taking time off his presenting duties to focus on recovery after he was admitted to rehab for a second time earlier this year.
