The BBC has finally given us another sneak peek at the soon-to-be released series five of police corruption thriller Line Of Duty.
Giving fans of the series a belated Christmas present, the Beeb dropped the trailer on Twitter on Boxing Day.

Drumming up the excitement, the broadcaster announced: "SOUND THE ALARM! IT'S THE WHOLE GANG BACK TOGETHER FOR THE NEW SERIES OF LINE OF DUTY.
"Coming in 2019 to BBC One. @martin_compston @Vicky_McClure #LOD5."
The minute-long preview trailer shows main characters Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) vowing to crack police corruption to fellow officer Ted Hastings.

The trio are discussing a corrupt senior police officer's involvement in the planning of a robbery - they are all part of AC12, the anti-corruption unit of the police.
Hastings declares that Arnott and Fleming are his "best team" and will "back them to the hilt", but when they leave his office he looks shifty as hell.
Naturally, Line Of Duty fans are speculating whether it's Hastings who is corrupt after all.
While the BBC only gave a 2019 release date for Jed Mercurio's next series in the trailer, actor Martin revealed a slightly more precise date during a recent appearance on ITV's Lorriane.

Chatting to host Lorraine Kelly, he shared: "I think [we can expect the new series] in about April. We just finish [filming] and we hand it over to the BBC schedule Gods, but I think April is about the time it's expected."
Joining Martin and Vicky in the starry line-up is Stephen Graham of Little Boy Blue fame, who will be taking on the role of mysterious balaclava man John Corbett.
Balaclava man wreaked havoc on AC-12 with his crimes - one of which included an attack on DS Steve Arnott.
Rochenda Sandall is also joining the cast of Line Of Duty as Season REG Lisa McQueen.

Details on the storyline for season five are thin on the ground, although Jed previously revealed: "I want to look at the personal lives of all the regulars in series five.
"They've taken a backseat in [series 4] to Roz Huntley, so it would be good to explore that side of things a bit more.
"The regulars are definitely up for doing more."
