USA Network has announced that Suits will be returning after its mid-season break with six new episodes and a 30 second teaser trailer makes the second half of season eight look super dramatic.

At the end of the last series it was revealed that Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) was being made Managing Partner of Zane Spector Litt and fans will now get to see how the show favourite is faring in his new role. The series will be returning weekly from 23 January 2019 at 10 PM ET/PT in America which hopefully means it will be arriving in the UK around the same time.

Historically once an episode airs in America, it is available the next day on Netflix UK from 8am.

In the trailer Harvey (Gabriel Macht) tells Donna (Sarah Rafferty) "I had a nightmare last night that we made Louis managing partner."

"That wasn't a nightmare and you know it," replies Donna.

The second half of Season 8 will pick up with expectant father Louis who stepped up for the role of Managing Partner despite originally wanting to back away from the business before fatherhood.

Louis is clearly enjoying his new title a lot as in the trailer fans hear him tell an uncomfortable Harvey: "You're a wild stallion, and I am not going to ride you hard."

Harvey is feeling a little uncomfortable about Louis' leadership. (

Unfortunately it doesn't sound like former Suits star Meghan Markle will be watching the new series as she revealed she doesn't watch the show anymore.

She was pretty blunt with it too.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently attended the Coach Core awards at Loughborough University, and chatted to Luke and Elliot Rainbird, who Meghan had previously met at another royal event. According to People, the brothers were keen to ask Meghan whether she'd seen the new series of Suits and it was a firm no from the former star.

Meghan left the drama at the end of season seven so she could carry out her duties as the Duchess of Sussex and start a new chapter in her life.

During the emotional final episode of series seven, simply titled 'Good-Bye', Meghan's character Rachel married her long term boyfriend Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams.

The on-screen pair were moving to Seattle to embark on a new career which would be running a firm which takes class action cases against Fortune 500 companies.
