If you loved Making A Murderer, listen up: Netflix's new true crime series has landed, and it's already winning rave reviews.
Exhibit A, which was released last week, explores cases where innocent people have been wrongly convicted - and it makes for some seriously addictive viewing.
Directed by Kelly Loudenberg, the documentary series investigates dubious forensic techniques, such as touch DNA and cadaver dogs, which have over the years led to innocent people being put behind bars.
According to Loudenberg, each episode 'delves into a particular forensic discipline and reveals how many of the techniques popularised in true crime shows and detective fiction are too good to be true'.

Raving about the series on Twitter, attorney Dominic DePamphilis called it 'fascinating and a great watch' while another fan labelled it 'very informative'.
And a third tweeted: "Exhibit A on Netflix is infuriating and heartbreaking and you have to watch it."
In episode one, Texas man George Powell is convicted of robbery when forensic experts 'see what they want to see' in their analysis of store surveillance footage.

It emerged this week that Powell, who has always maintained his innocence, will be granted a retrial.
And in the second instalment, the limits of forensic science are exposed when flawed blood spatter evidence leads to the conviction of a Texas woman for the murder of her husband.
In episode three, "assumptions pass for facts when Detroit police misuse cadaver dogs to build a murder case against a man whose daughter has disappeared."

And in the final instalment, an innocent man from Brooklyn faces assault charges thanks to statistical DNA testing that relies on deduction rather than proof.
