Confession Tapes Of Serial Killer Samuel Little Shown In New Channel 4 Documentary

New Channel 4 documentary, Confessions Of A Serial Killer, aired last night, exploring the crimes of Samuel Little, who could potentially be the most prolific serial killer in US history.

While he is currently serving life sentences for three murders, he claims to have killed at least 90 women over four decades across the States.

In the documentary, filmmaker Ben Zand unravelled the story to try and figure out how Little stayed on the loose for so long before being convicted in 2014 after DNA evidence tied him to the murders.

The documentary sees Ben travelling from California to Mississippi and listening to seven hours of never before heard police confession tapes in which Little details and confesses to his crimes.

Little is now working with the police to solve his own crimes, drawing photos of the women that he murdered.

Some of the women's faces haven't been seen since their disappearance, and the pictures are helping family members to identify their lost loved ones.

The FBI stated that it believes Little is definitely behind at least half of those 90 murders that he claims to have committed.

Little believes that he got away with the murders for so long because the women he targeted were black sex workers.

In the confession tapes, he said: "I didn't take chances. I didn't have nobody with me and I pick on motherf*ckers that wouldn't be missed. That's why I didn't get busted a long time ago."

He can also be heard saying: "I try to trace back to when I became attracted to a woman's throat." He also laughs in a bone-chilling segment: "A lot of these women have a death wish. Yeah they want to die. I love all of them."

People have been reacting to the documentary and Little's shocking words on Twitter.

The documentary is now available to stream now on All 4.
