It's safe to say that Cheryl and Liam Payne are excelling when it comes to the couple goals stakes.

After announcing the birth of their first son, Bear, in March of this year, they appear to have gone strength to strength, and are capturing the hearts of the nation.

To celebrate Liam turning 24, and his first birthday as a dad, the former Girls Aloud singer aimed to plan something spectacular, and boy did she deliver.

Having flown out to Mallorca to enjoy the celebrations in style, the family of three were seen lapping up the Spanish sun on Instagram, much to the envy of pretty much everybody else.

But the treats didn't end there, as it was revealed that Chezza had organised for several of his family and school friends to come over and crash the holiday.

Speaking to the MailOnline about his birthday festivities, the One Direction singer said: "It was amazing, there were multiple surprises throughout the day.

"We got away for a little holiday and she had flown all my old school friends out that I literally hadn't seen for a year, so it was amazing to spend time with them.

"And then on my actual birthday, she flew my parents out and they spent a bit of time with me. It was really nice for my mum and dad.
