If you're stuck between the decision of whether to get active or get drunk this summer then you're in luck - Liverpool is welcoming a huge summer event next month and it's basically a bunch of fun obstacle courses complete with a beach bar and live DJs.
The Malibu Games will be held at the Great Baltic Warehouse between 7th - 11th August, where competitors will race through a series of Malibu-inspired challenges, testing the limits of their skills and teamwork in a bid to reach the winner's podium.
If you're stuck in the UK this summer you can still get a taste of island life as the space will be transformed into a tropical paradise with three unique gaming zones inspired by Malibu rum flavours, including Malibu Original Coconut, Malibu Passion Fruit and its newest addition, Malibu Strawberry Spritz.

Contestants will be put to the test, challenging their balance, speed and tenacity as they make their way through each section to collect points.
There's the 'Not So Coconut Shy' where gamers must scramble to collect as many coconuts as possible, the 'Strawberry Sprint' where contestants much leap across fruity podiums and dodge giant swinging strawberries.
And finally the 'Passionfruit Prism' in which teams must work together to collect purple tokens in a final dash for the top spot.
While it sounds like a super fun day out to us, we also reckon it will be pretty exhausting business but luckily organisers will be installing a Malibu Beach Bar where both contestants and bystanders can sample all of the Malibu serves that inspire the games.

And if the preview pics are anything to go by, we're expecting a seriously Instagrammable-backdrop, while live DJs will entertain in the evening.
Reality TV show fans also have another reason to hot-foot it to Liverpool for the event - the games have heaps of celeb ambassadors including Love Island's Gabby Allen and Olivia Buckland as well as Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson, who all put their skills to the test in the UK Malibu Games in the Dominican Republic earlier this summer.
Fancy your chances? Tickets start at £12.00 per person and are available to buy here.
