Fans were confused about Mark's new look.

Mark had grown a man bun and a beard which is a drastic change compared to his usual clean shaven and slicked back hair.

While the band performed on a platform surrounded by dancers fans took to Twitter to express their shock at the singer's new look.

One viewer wrote: "OMG how different does Mark Owen look? Barely recognised him."

Another questioned 'who the new guy is' as someone replied to reassure her it was Mark. They wrote: "It's still Mark Owen!! I was totally confused and then realised he'd just totally changed his look [sic]."

A fourth fan said: "I'm sorry but anyone watching #Strictly think that Mark in Take That look 'different', didn't even recognise him to begin with [sic]?"

It also sounds like he has impressed a few fans with his new look. One wrote: "Well I thought Mark Owen looked as hot as ever! Loved the beard and hair [sic]."

Another fan of the rugged look added: "I'm loving Mark's ruggedness."

Kate Silverton became the eighth contestant to be eliminated from the show after losing out to Graeme Swann in the dance off.

When asked by Tess Daly about her time on the show, Kate said: "You know I'm actually weirdly perversely, not that I would have wanted to go out, but on a night like tonight in such a place, I couldn't have asked for anything better really."
