The Spice Girls reunion tour had been the highlight of many's year (and life) so far - yet Mel B has said that she was "disappointed" that Victoria Beckham never made an appearance during their 13-date run.

Victoria, 44, explained that she wouldn't be joining the band's reunion tour in order to focus on her fashion brand and didn't attend any of the girl group's stadium shows, despite previously teasing a surprise appearance.

Appearing on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, Mel, 44, admitted that she was "upset" by Victoria absence and hoped that her former band mate would have stopped by to "just say hi".

The Scary Spice star was asked by host Susanna Reid if she was "disappointed that Posh didn't turn up right at the end" for the group's sold out Wembley shows.

Answering the question frankly, the singer responded: "I expected her to come and just say hi at least, not even on stage, just as an audience member supporting."

Susanna's co-host Piers Morgan then asked if Mel knew the reasons behind Victoria's non-attendance

She said: "Do I look like I know? I don't know. I'm sure she has her reasons for not.

"I was upset, I still am a little bit, but it is what it is and us girls we all support each other no matter what but yeah."

Mel then shrugged off any suggestion of a "rift" between the girls but admitted that it had been "disappointing" not to have Victoria, who attended footballer Sergio Ramos' wedding in Spain over the weekend.

The Leeds native: "No, we're all adults, we have to respectfully get on with whatever, but it is a bit disappointing, put it that way."

Aside from Victoria's absence from the London shows, Mel B defended her shock claim that she had slept with fellow bandmate Geri Horner, 46, in the 90s.

Sticking to the claims she made on Piers Morgan's Life Stories in May, Mel told the hosts that she is "not a liar".

She fumed: "Listen, [Horner is] used to dealing with me, so I'm going to say whatever I'm going to say, within reason respectfully, and I'm going to tell the truth.

"So she just has to swallow that pill. I'm not apologising.

"I'm not a liar, I've already said that. It's old news, this happened such a long time ago, you know."
