It's been a crazy few months for Liam Payne. The 23-year-old welcomed his first child with girlfriend Cheryl back in March, who they named Bear, and today he has released his first solo single since taking a break from One Direction.

The track, which was written by Ed Sheeran, features Quavo and is titled 'Strip That Down' and fans are going absolutely crazy for it.

There's no official video just yet, but the full song is now available on Spotify, iTunes and YouTube and we are getting some serious Justin Timberlake vibes from it...Here's how fans have been reacting to the new release:

However, some die-hard 'Directioners' are a little bit upset over the lyric: "You know I used to be in 1D, but now I'm out free."
