How much of a Harry Potter fan are you, really? Read all of the books? Binged on all of the films? Know exactly which house you'd be in?

Well, you'd better decide on that last one quickly, because Vans appear to be releasing a collection of house-themed shoes.

Sending Harry Potter fans into meltdown, Vans tweeted on Monday 22nd April that "something magical is coming soon" with a graphic combining the Harry Potter and Vans logos on a background that alternates between the colours of the four houses.

Fans are already going wild in the replies, with some tweeting begging Vans begging to "take their money" and to hurry up and release the final designs already.

Vans are no stranger to collaborations, having already released a Nintendo collection featuring Mario, Peach and Zelda shoes, bags and clothes, as well as teaming up with Marvel and even David Bowie.

It's unclear as of yet what the Harry Potter collaboration will include - at the very least it seems fans will be able to buy four pairs of house-themed shoes, but it seems entirely likely that there's going to be a full collection of accessories and clothes to go alongside it.

Following the link to their site takes you to a sign-up page featuring graphics relating to all four houses and reading "Vans and HARRY POTTER collaborated to conjure up a magical collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories for witches, wizards, and muggles alike."

Signing up will make you first in line to receive updates on the as-yet unannounced release dates, prices, and designs.

It seems likely that the collection will sell out pretty much immediately, so if you're keen to get your hands on a pair, sign up here and most importantly, make that final decision on what house you're really in.
