Victoria Beckham Could Still Make A Lot Of Money From The Spice Girls Tour

Despite not hitting the road with the rest of the Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham could reportedly still make a lot of dollar from the tour.

Posh Spice made the decision not to tour with Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner but wished her former bandmates the best with a heartfelt Instagram message as the news was announced.

But according to The Sun, the fashion designer could still rake in a fair bit of money from the tour as she continues to have a 'significant stake in the group's image and music rights'. This could apparently see her make millions.

So when the girls take to the stage to perform old hits like 'Wannabe', 'Viva Forever' and 'Spice Up Your Life', Victoria may be earning herself a hefty paycheck.

And a quick search of the trademark and Companies House shows that Victoria is one of five directors of Spice Girls Limited. Her role in the band is also listed as 'active' on the website.

This means she most likely has a significant stake in the group's image and music rights.

The rumour mill has been rife for months that the Spice Girls were reuniting, with sources claiming back in June that Victoria would still earn money if she didn't tour - something which apparently ruffled a few feathers.

Victoria broke her silence on the tour on Monday evening, declaring in true Spice Girls style that 'friendship never ends'.

"Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!" announced Posh on Instagram.

"I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.

"I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends."

The rest of the band will be touring from June 2019 starting in Manchester before moving on to Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London.
