Cheryl Tweedy has reportedly told Simon Cowell that she only return to The X Factor as long as Louis Walsh and Sinnita were not hired again, according to Closer Magazine.

The 34-year-old has apparently given Simon an ultimatum for if he ever wants to get her back on the ITV show.

A source told Closer Magazine: "She called Simon and said she wasn't sure she could return to the show if Louis or Sinitta were hired.

"Simon now feels stuck in the middle and he said her X Factor role could be in jeopardy.

"Cheryl used to be able to pull all the strings with Simon but that sparkle has fizzled out..."

Cheryl and Louis have had a difficult relationship over recent years, with Louis making a number of unveiled digs at the mum-of-one in public.

The former Girls Aloud singer made her first public debut since giving birth to her first child with boyfriend Liam Payne, when she appeared at the judges' houses with Simon Cowell.

This was a move that angered Sinitta, who didn't hold back in an interview with The Sun, in which she said: "Even Cheryl's week didn't stop it losing one million viewers..." Ouch.

Naturally, comments like those have reportedly made Cheryl hesitant from working with either of them again. Despite being supported by boyfriend Liam Payne, who Cheryl met on the show for the first time, Cheryl feels "defeated" according to the source.

Cheryl is expected to make an appearance back on the music scene soon though, as it was recently reported that Cheryl has been busy writing music with BFF and fellow Girls Aloud gal, Nicola Roberts. The Sun also claimed that Chezza had enlisted Naughty Boy for help with her musical comeback.

Naughty Boy said: "Cheryl spoke to me at one of Simon Cowell's recent parties about doing something together and a future collaboration.

"I have actually got a song written for her now so we will see what happens."
