If most of us were in the same room as Taylor Swift, it's likely we'd have a lot to ask about her music, her many awards and maybe even her cats.
And it seems fair to say that few of us would find it of much interest that she will soon turn 30.
However, German outlet Deutsche Presse-Agentur recently made the mistake of asking Taylor if she planned on settling down as she turned the big 3-0.

Yep, turns out that not even Taylor is immune to that annoying, sexist question.
During the interview, Taylor was asked whether turning 30 would be a "turning point" for her, and whether she was ready to have children.
According to a translation done by Entertainment Tonight, she politely said: "I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30. So I'm not going to answer that question now."
She did however go on to talk about what turning 30 means to her. "We are in our 20s looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes. I definitely plan to try and fail things in my 30s as well. But I expect that in our 30s we feel a little better of who we are. The closer I get to it, the more I feel it happens," she said.

Taylor recently wrote an essay for Elle on the 30 things that she learned before turning 30, which went down well with her fans.
She opened it by saying: "According to my birth certificate, I turn 30 this year. It's weird because part of me still feels 18 and part of me feels 283, but the actual age I currently am is 29.
"I've heard people say that your thirties are "the most fun!" So I'll definitely keep you posted on my findings on that when I know.

"But until then, I thought I'd share some lessons I've learned before reaching 30, because it's 2019 and sharing is caring."
Unsurprisingly, there was nothing to do with having kids on that list!
