I think it's fair to say that Rita Ora pretty much broke the internet when she decided to post pictures of herself and UFC fighter Conor McGregor at the British Fashion Awards, with the caption "date night."

A brave move? Or somewhat stupid? You decide. Anyway, the lovely people on the internet were not too impressed with Rita's move, with many branding her as 'disrespectful' towards Conor's wife and childhood sweetheart, Dee Devlin.
However, Rita has chosen now as the right opportunity to confirm her own relationship status, and it turns out she's pretty loved up with her own man.
Rita took to her Twitter and Instagram to confirm her relationship with fellow musician, Andrew Watt. The pair have been at the centre of romance speculation for around a year.
Rita posted a snap of her and her beau with the caption: "last night," coupled with two love hearts. It is interesting timing to announce your relationship, but maybe she felt compelled after receiving so much backlash over the Conor post.
Some fans have blasted the whole situation as a publicity stunt, but Rita's publicist jumped to her defence, saying: "Date night is a figure of speech, Rita also posted selfies with Donatella Versace as her real date and one with Jourdan Dunn as her date."
Of course, as Rita is the female in this situation, she's received a lot more backlash than Conor - despite him looking pretty cosy in the pictures too. That's misogyny for you. But, being the mischievous kind of person that he is, Conor recently responded to the drama by taking to the microphone during a club appearance to shout: "Shout out to Rita Ora!"
Oddly though, he doesn't seem to be getting too much stick for that. Interesting.
