Seann Walsh and Katya Jones apologised for a second time last night when they appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, days after they were spotted kissing on a 'drunken' night out.

Unsurprisingly, Seann's now ex-girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries - who confirmed their split in a powerful open letter, made her feelings pretty clear on Twitter.

During the 'awkward' apology, Seann addressed Rebecca's statement, telling host Zoe Ball: "I made a mistake which I am very sorry for, I'm sorry for the hurt I caused, you never think about the extent of the damage you are going to do in the mistake that you made.

"I am not perfect, far from it. Our relationship wasn't perfect, that doesn't mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did."

However, he did go on to say that he's 'not the person he is being portrayed as' in Rebecca's statement before adding that he's 'still sorry'.

Shortly after the BBC programme aired, Rebecca 'liked' a string of tweets attacking the comedian for the way he treated her.

"I feel so desperately frustrated & sad for @Beckshumps having just watched the 'apology' that @seannwalsh gave," one read.

"NO relationship is perfect, it takes kindness, consideration, communication & understanding. But most of all please have the decency to SAY her name? Apologise to her."

A second viewer fumed: "Seann Walsh responds to @Beckshumpsstatement saying: 'I feel it is important for me to say that the people that know and love me know I'm not the person I'm being portrayed as. I'm still sorry for what I did - but it's very important for me to get that out there."

Rebecca also liked a tweet that read: "And STILL Seann didn't publicly apologise to @Beckshumps! #ItTakesTwo," and another that simply read: "He's a dick."

Meanwhile, Katya Jones insists that she and husband Neil Jones were 'fine' with each other after the incident.
