In a statement released to OK! magazine, a representative for the 2017 Love Island star explained: "Initially, I would like to apologise on behalf of Chloe for her error in judgement."

The statement continued: "Chloe is fully aware that her public profile comes hand in hand with responsibility and at this stage does not want to comment beyond offering her sincerest apologies to her family, friends and supporters for any embarrassment she may have caused."

Chloe was released on unconditional bail, but will appear in court later on in this month.

Speaking about the arrest, a police statement read: "At 12.20pm on Sunday 5 November, police received a report of a driver suspected to be under the influence of alcohol leaving the Holiday Inn in Haslett Avenue East, Crawley.

"Chloe Crowhurst, 22, a TV employee, of Romford, Havering, was arrested and charged with driving with 50mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.

"She was released on unconditional bail and is due to appear before Crawley Magistrates' Court on November 20."

The Sun revealed that the Love Island star was partying at Shocktober Fest in Crawley the night before the drink driving incident is said to have occurred.

Speaking to the publication, a pal of the reality beauty explained: "What she did was really stupid - she'd only had a few hours of sleep.

"She's lucky she was stopped just after she left the hotel otherwise something horrible could have happened."
