Just when we thought we couldn't love Julia Roberts anymore, she just shut down a beauty shamer in the best way possible.
The Notting Hill star recently attended the Toronto Film Festival where she rocked the red carpet in a stunningly sophisticated DSquared2 black cut-out gown.

However, one social media user took to Instagram to share a 'who wore it better' post, comparing Julia's look with a look from 1940's Joan Crawford but let's face it, they both look incredible.
Nicholas, who runs the account @vintagecostumecollector, was more than complimentary of Julia's look, with a gushing caption that read: "I always like to find the glamour of classic Hollywood when I can. Over the weekend Julia Roberts looked stunning in this gorgeous full length gown designed by Dsquared2 and in a little way has brought back the shoulder pad to the red carpet at the Toronto film festival.
"I love it. Full length stylish classic elegance."
While we couldn't agree any more, one follower couldn't help but throw their two pence in after deciding she much preferred Joan's look.

She commented on the post: "Joan Crawford looks way better in my opinion more classic and refined and Julia is wearing ugly black nail polish!"
But the sass queen that is Julia Roberts wasn't about to let the troll get away with her terrible error, prompting Julia to write: "It is in fact navy polish with garnets crystals as a grounding accent. In case you would like to edit your comment from 'ugly black nail polish' to ugly navy polish with Garnet crystals. Just sayin'"
Despite most celebs tending to avoid the unnecessary negative comments they receive online, there's something oddly satisfying about watching celebrities takedown the keyboard warriors behind the horrible messages.

We couldn't have worded it any better ourselves. Bravo Julia.
