Long before the days of the Kardashians becoming our body idols, there was Jennifer Lopez.
The Love Don't Cost A Thing singer was always known for her body confidence, as well as musical talents as she inspired generations of women to turn against the size zero ideals expected of females in the industry.
But at the time, Jenny from the block revealed she 'didn't realise' what she was doing.
"I was just being myself," the 49-year-old told InStyle magazine.

"In my family, curves were glorified and part of the culture. It was just like 'Jennifer has a big butt, and it's good.'"
Now, Jennifer has reminded us of those iconic curves by donning a Valentino haute couture cape as a sideless dress, and it's definitely a look.
The cape theme doesn't end there, either, as the singer has also been photographed wearing wide-leg white trousers and a big green colourful cloak on the front of InStyle.
Jennifer, who previously appeared as a judge on American Idol, has credited the programme for allowing the public to see the 'real her'.

"That show was live - everything was in the moment, not edited," she explained. "So finally people got to see that I was actually a person, someone with a heart. I got to speak for myself for the first time and that changed everything."
It goes without saying that Jennifer is looking incredible, and she credits her diet of no caffeine and no alcohol, teamed with 'lots of sleep' for her youthful look.
"I've taken care of myself, and now it shows," she told the magazine.
