Here's How Emily Ratajkowski Rocked A Faux Bob At The Golden Globes
It's impossible for Emily Ratajkowski to look anything less than fabulous.
The model and Gone Girl actress was slaying it at last night's Golden Globes, working the red carpet in a gem-encrusted Reem Acra satin gown.
But her hair was noticeably shorter.
Had the 25-year-old chopped her locks especially for the occasion? Our eyes were not deceiving us. There was definitely a bob on show.
But no. Emily employed hair stylist to the stars, Christian Wood, to work his magic:
It's actually a faux bob. The back of the dress had such amazing detail, so she wanted to show that off without doing an up-do.
She let me cut her hair in the front of her head and the sides-and her bangs and the crown. And she let me cut to the length of the fake bob to make it look really real. We basically put the longest parts of her hair into a braid, rolled it up, and secured it with pins. We used an Uberliss straightening iron to add a gentle wave, then used a texture spray and hairspray, teased at the crown, and tucked one side behind the ear.
And what a beautiful look it was! Emily's features are accentuated even more with short hair, so much so that we think she should opt for this cut on a regular basis.
