Heidi Klum is well known as being the queen of Halloween - not only does she throw a spooky party every year, she goes all out for her costumes.

But this year she might have just outdone herself.

The model transformed herself into our favourite ogre, Princess Fiona, and her boyfriend,Tom Kaulitz, was transformed into Shrek.

With the help of a prosthetic company, Heidi made herself completely unrecognisable and looked as though she had just arrived straight from the kingdom of Far Far Away.

At the end of September, Heidi did tease fans with the news that she was working with a prosthetic company to create her costume, but nobody expected her to look this good.

During the buildup to the big event, Heidi shared a selection of throwback pictures of her favourite costumes in the past.

Back in 2013, Heidi turned the clocks forwards 50 years and transformed herself into an old woman.

She claimed that it took everyone at the party to realise that it was her and not a gate crashing pensioner.

Let's also not forget the first time Heidi used heavy prosthetics in 2011 when she arrived as a full blown ape, inspired by Planet of the Apes.

Heidi threw two parties that year, one in New York and one in Las Vegas, but she says this is where her love for prosthetics started.

Heidi has actually worked with the same prosthetic company from this year before, when she dressed up as Jessica Rabbit in 2017.

Mike Marino of Prosthetic Renaissance was the master behind the costume, and we'd really like to hire him for our Halloween party next year.

In 2011 for the Las Vegas party, Heidi turned up in as a skinless body on a hospital bed.

It's safe to say the costume shocked a few guests.

There is no way you can deny that Heidi Klum is the queen of Halloween, and always has the most extra costume in the room.

We already can't wait to see what she will be wearing next year (she's probably already planned it).
