We love a good throwback, and with Love Island drawing further to a close we are immersing ourselves in all thing related to the villa. Genuinely, what are we going to do when it's finished? It's not even worth thinking about...

But thankfully, the Love Island stars always end up continuing on in the media spotlight for a bit of time afterwards so we don't FULLY lose out on our fix. Some of them go into TOWIE, some of them go to Made In Chelsea, others come out with make-up ranges, or clothing lines.

But we can never forget that some of the Islanders weren't completely new to the camera when they started their Love Island journey. Scott Thomas from the 2016 series had famous brothers, and went on to play All Star Family Fortunes years before he had entered the villa.

Cara De La Hoyde was also one of last years bunch to have graced the screens before, but this time for Channel 4. She was actually on First Dates!

Don't remember her episode? Take a peek here...

She looks so different in this!

Now we know she went on to meet Nathan Massey and is currently expecting her first child with him, so its a good job her first date didn't amount to anything as we couldn't have imagined last year's Love Island without the pair. Unfortunately though, the two did call things off but Cara has expressed she still loves Nathan, so we're still keeping our fingers crossed for a reconciliation.

Talking of Islanders before they entered the villa, have you seen the Shell advert with Kem Cetinay in it? I'll just leave this right here...

You're welcome.

We wonder if next years lot of Islanders will already be TV veterans?
