Danny Dyer Swears While Presenting BAFTAs With Holly Willoughby

Danny Dyer took on some presenting duties with Holly Willoughby at last night's BAFTAs, but had his co-host cringing after he swore on air - despite being told by bosses not to.

The soap star was called on-stage to present the 'Must See TV Moment' with Holly.

But the EastEnders actor caused chaos with his rant about not being a nominee on stage, in which he again called former British Prime Minister David Cameron a tw*t.

Danny previously called used the word to describe Cameron during an appearance on Good Evening Britain, in which he was discussing politics and Brexit last June.

And on Sunday evening, the soap star joked he should have been nominated for a BAFTA for his expletive-ridden rant about the PM after being asked by Holly whether he was enjoying hosting the award alongside her.

"Am I one of them? Then no," he said. "I should have been nominated for calling Cameron a tw*t, but we'll let it go."

Danny continued: "We'll let it go for now. They did tell me not to say it so I'm just going to read that. The nominations are..."

Viewers watching the awards ceremony at home were tickled by Danny, with one writing: "I love Danny Dyer, the 0 f*cks he gives is the level I aspire to be at LOOOOL What a legend."

"Danny Dyer calling David Cameron a t**t should have an award all on its own," joked another.

However, some fans didn't find the swearing very funny. "Danny Dyer in using foul language shocker. This guy is ridiculous, fair play he's done well as an actor but why feel the need to swear all the time?" declared one.

The BAFTAs cermeony isn't broadcast live, but instead is shown on a delay in an edited-down version.

The 'Must See TV Moment' was won by the BBC's Bodyguard for the moment Keeley Hawes' character Julia Montague was assassinated in the drama.
