Catherine Tyldesley In Furious Twitter Spat With Traffic Warden

Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley has launched a furious Twitter tirade against a Manchester traffic warden who she claims called her 'a cow' when she pulled over to help her son.

The 35-year-old, best known for playing Eva Price on Corrie, alleges the warden took pictures of her car while she was pulled over to help her injured son.

"To the traffic warden that took a picture of my car because I'd pulled over to sort my son out after he'd hurt his finger... I hope you have the worst day," she wrote on Twitter.

"You're attitude was a disgrace [sic] ... who do I speak to please @ManCityCouncil I do not appreciate being called a cow."

Replying to her followers, the mother-of-one added: "I'm honestly gobsmacked. He raged at me. I wish to God someone had filmed it. Unbelievable.

"Pretty sure the same guy shouted at me a few years back for pulling over to breast feed and I ended up crying in the back of my car. I don't understand how he still has a job. Vile."

Manchester Council has not yet replied to the post but let's hope they manage to get to the bottom of this sticky situation soon.

Since stepping away from Coronation Street, Catherine has set up her own wellbeing blog with her husband, Tom Pitfield.

The couple, who wed in 2016, share a passion for all things health and fitness, and adorably titled their joint venture 'The Pitfields'.

Their Instagram page, which boasts over 23,000 followers, launched in February 2016, and is full of advice for families to help them lead a wholesome lifestyle in a realistic way, and on a budget.

Along with the social media sharing site, there is also a blog full of posts like on topics like food-prep, tasty recipes, and home workouts.
