Billie Faiers Fumes Over Phillip Schofield Questioning How Much Her Wedding Cost

"It’s rude and it’s nobody’s business but ours."

Billie Faiers has hit out at Phillip Schofield's "rude" questions about how much her wedding cost earlier this year on This Morning.

ICYMI reality star Billie tied the knot with baby daddy Greg Shepherd in the Maldives in March, and on her return to the UK was quizzed by the This Morning host on her nuptials alongside sister Sam. Phil speculated the bash came with a £229,000 price tag, asking whether the resort had given them a deal. You can watch the super awkward interview here:

Now it seems that Billie is still annoyed by Phil's questions on how much they spent. "I was in shock. Prior to our appearance, I'd been very clear that I don't talk about money," she told OK! Magazine. "It's rude and it's nobody's business but ours."

Her husband Greg added: "We should ask Phillip Schofield how much he earns!"

The mum-of-two, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex, added: "They were trying to insinuate that we got the wedding for free, which is so far from the truth. We saved for our wedding for years."

It seemed like Phillip did some digging before Billie and Sam's appearance on the chat show's sofa a few days after the luxury wedding.

"My God, you must be earning beautifully to be able to do this," Phil told her. "This is the Kuramathi resort in the Maldives. So, we had a look, if you were to stay there next Saturday it would be £650 a night.

"That would be £4,588 for a week for the superior beach villa. The whole week for 100 guests - £229,000. So you must have got a deal there."

The sisters giggled awkwardly as Sam responded: "Not much of a deal."

But not backing off, Phil again questioned: "£229 grand for your wedding?" to which Billie replied: "Yeah, it wasn't quite that."

"Right, so they did you a deal?" Phil asked again.

And The Mummy Diaries star explained: "Because there was a large group of us we had the beach houses and split them in two.

"Two families would be in one beach house. It really helped us out with the rooms and stuff."

Yikes!
