Ariana Grande has returned to social media with a powerful message about anxiety, just days after it was announced she'd split from comedian Pete Davidson.

The God Is A Woman singer posted a fierce selfie with a very small caption that said: "Can't believe I almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today!!! Not today Satan! Not tomorrow or the next day either not no more u can suck my big green d*ck. Finna sing my heart out and be a big walking vessel of love bye."

Judging by Ariana's recent Instagram post - and her *green* d*ck, it seems like she's talking about her upcoming performance in A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway on NBC, which pays tribute to the musical on its 15th anniversary.

Ariana noted she was 'honoured' to play a part in the tribute to her 'favourite musical of all time.'

This is the 25-year-old's first social media post since it was revealed she had already returned her $100k engagement ring after calling off her engagement with Pete.

Ariana and Pete had been together for a mere five months, however a source claims they both decided it was 'simply not the right time for their relationship to take off.'

Other sources claim that it was Ariana who ended their relationship after an extremely tough couple of years.

After the horrific terror attack at her concert in Manchester, leaving 22 of her fans dead, Ariana recently faced the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.

The God Is A Woman singer told fans how she'd "been through hell" and it's thought she will now take a break to take some time to look after herself.

Ariana and Pete's relationship began in May, shortly after Ariana split from her late ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, who tragically died of a suspected overdose last month.
