We Absolutely Loved All These Books As Kids
Today marks World Book Day, and while we might not dress up and get as excited as we did in primary school (although we'd definitely jump at the chance), we can still marvel at the wonder of books, and remember the epic tales that made us fall in love with reading in the first place.
Helen Nicoll and Jan Pieńkowski - 'Meg and Mog'
Jacqueline Wilson - 'Dustbin Baby'
Eric Carle - 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'
Roderick Hunt and Alex Brychta - 'The Magic Key'
Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake - 'The Twits' - And literally every other Roald Dahl book ever!
R.L Stine - 'Goosebumps'
Ann M. Martin - 'The Baby-Sitters Club'
Michael Rosen - 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'
Francine Pascal - 'Sweet Valley High'
E. B. White - 'Charlotte's Web'
ALL of the Ladybird books...
And you didn't exactly read them but we always rushed to get these bad boys when it was library day...
Martin Handford - 'Where's Wally'
So many gems! What was your favourite children's book?
