The tour says: "The second magical tale from J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World will be brought to life around the UK this December as it calls at Liverpool before travelling onto Leeds, Cardiff, Dublin, Manchester, and Glasgow before finishing in Birmingham.
"The film, which follows Harry Potter's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was released in 2002, and became one of the highest-grossing films of all time."
They continued: "The tour will feature a live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a 60-foot screen while hearing the orchestra perform the unforgettable score by award-winning film composer and Oscar winner, John Williams."
You had me at "second magical tale". I am there.
Imagine sitting with your mates and watching the film, but instead of the music coming through sh*tty little speakers, it's through a full orchestra?! Urm... yes please!
Justin Freer, President of CineConcerts and Producer/Conductor of The Harry Potter Film Concert Series said: "It is incredibly exciting to think that audiences will be able to relive the magic of the second film while listening to the award-winning music score played live by a symphony orchestra.
"It will be another unique and unforgettable event."
