​Virgin Launches First Adult Only Cruise Ship

Virgin has launched its first ever cruise ship which has a nightclub and tattoo parlour but the ship is only open to adults over 18.

Virgin has confirmed plans for it's first ever cruise ship and delighted many by announcing it will be adult only!

Fitted with a tattoo parlour, nightclub and thermal spa,The 'Scarlet Lady' will be Virgin Voyage's will only be open to holidaymakers aged 18 or over. So, whether you're a parent in need of a break or child-free and looking for a sun-soaked holiday without any screaming children under your feet, this could be the cruise for you.

And if this is already sounding right up your street (or harbour) then the fact that it's first journey in 2020 will be around the Caribbean will probably make it sound even better.

There will be a variety of different restaurants on the ship but the two main restaurants will be Wake, specialising in steak and seafood, and Pink Agave which will serve Mexican food.

Or you could visit the drag brunch bar Razzle Dazzle and either choose from the "nice" section of the menu with only plant-based vegetarian and vegan items and or the "naughty" list, which features meat additions to meals or alcoholic shots.

The ship is built for adventurous and travellers who want to try new things but they have also looked after those who just want to relax.

There is the Redemption Spa, with hydrotherapy pool, mud room, salt room, cold plunge pools, quartz beds, and rejuvenating spa treatments.

Even though the spa is built for relaxation that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by all as at night passengers can visit a spa party where a DJ will transform the spa's thermal suite into a mermaid hideaway.

If you don't have too much of a hangover and like to keep fit there is also an athletic centre on board.

The athletics centre features an outdoor training zone, including a boxing ring and gymnastics equipment.

There is also an area for outdoor gaming, and alongside that area is the largest daybed at sea, and a sports bar for a post-workout drink.

If you are lucky enough to be sleeping in a Rockstar Suite then you will also have access to Richard's Rooftop which is an exclusive club.
