Customers Are Convinced That This Lush Body Lotion Cures Insomnia
If you've ever suffered with insomnia, you'll know how terrible it is. Walking around zombie-like, never really feeling awake but never really feeling asleep, irritable... I probably don't need to go on.
You're probably willing to try anything for a decent night's sleep.
Everyone has got their own 'cure': 'have you tried eating lettuce?', 'have you tried camomile tea?' 'have you tried sleeping during the day and being awake at night?'
And now there's a new kid on the block, because according to a bunch of people on the Internet (reliable) there's a body lotion that is sending people off to the Land of Nod.
The lotion, aptly named Sleepy, is on sale at Lush and for £7.95 (95g) and £13.95 (215g) it's got to be worth a shot, hasn't it? At best you'll get a decent night's sleep, at worst you'll have soft skin.
Sleep-drunk Redditors took to the site to talk about their experiences of using the cream.
One wrote: "As someone with incurable and not so common chronic illnesses which result in chronic pain and insomnia because of the pain, Sleepy lotion is the one product that can actually help me through the worst of my nights."
While another said it as responsible for helping their 'serious inability to sleep'.
On the Lush website reviewers are equally as gushing, with one posting: "I have been using my small pot from Christmas sparingly - only when I was really stressed, or really having trouble falling asleep."
Another said: "I suffer from PTSD and this doesn't solve my sleep issues but it definitely helps."
While someone else simply wrote: "It actually works!"
Sleepy, which was initially introduced as limited edition product, is now a permanent fixture in Lush stores and online, probably because a bunch of really tired people demanded it.
In the meantime, let's look at this gorgeous Harry Potter-themed bath bomb from the company...
I feel more tired already.
