Chester Zoo are hosting their first ever sleepover, and we are freaking out.

A sleepover? In a zoo? Are you kidding me?

The popular wildlife sanctuary is opening its gates to the public for one night only, where they are inviting guests to 'get closer to nature' and camp out at the zoo for its Wildlife Connections Family Sleepover.

We must be dreaming RN.

The park asks us to: "Bring your family, pitch up your tent and take part in an evening of wildlife activities that'll bring you closer to the incredible local wildlife."

Can you think of any better way to camp? We think not.

The animal park encourage those attending to see what 'nocturnal nature' they can see, and 'do some star gazing' at night, before enjoying some 'animal yoga' before breakfast.

We don't know what animal yoga is, but it sounds right up our street.

The page reads: "See what nocturnal nature you can spot, like moths and bats, and then do some star gazing before tucking into a tasty hot chocolate. But be sure you get a good night's sleep and recharge your batteries, ready for an early rise and animal yoga before breakfast.

"Before packing up and leaving, there are opportunities to take part in a dawn chorus bird walk and bug hunting."

With 'bug hunting', 'pond dipping' and a 'dawn chorus bird walk' (whatever that is), it sounds like every nature lovers' dream.

We all have that one friend who loves all things involving animals and the outdoors, and this could just be the best gift you ever give them.

The only snag is that the event is designed for family groups, so we're afraid you might have to drag your annoying little brother or sister along. All children must be accompanied by someone aged 21 or over.

Adult tickets are on sale for £49, with those aged 1-17-years-old paying £29, while children under the age of one have free entry.

It may seem quite a lot to pay, but this price includes an evening meal, hot chocolate, breakfast, and some super fun morning activities.

We think it's worth it TBH. Because when else are you going to be able to have a sleepover in a zoo?

The event is in support of the Wildlife Connections project, which was set up with an aim to create safe spaces for our 'most precious local wildlife'.
