Families Can Record Rudolph In Their Living Room Thanks To Magical App

Families can add a little bit of extra magic to Christmas by filming Rudolph eating carrots in their house thanks to a new app.

The app is perfect if the little ones in your family question how Santa and his reindeer make it around the world without any snacks along the way.

Along with McDonald's #ReindeerReady campaign, the fast food giant has created an amazing tool which allows you to film a reindeer coming into your house and eating the carrots that have been left out on a plate.

It is also super simple to create the festive footage, as you just need to visit the Reindeer Ready site on your phone or tablet.

You then have to get down to floor level and take a snap of your tree or festive fireplace ready for the reindeer to arrive.

Once you have uploaded the image, you can move Rudolph around a bit to position him correctly and then the website will create a video of his visit.

You can either share the video on social media or send it to yourself via email.

The app is part of McDonald's campaign to encourage families to pop into a store for a bag of carrot sticks to treat Santa's reindeer.

The fast food restaurant is also offering a free bag to anyone who heads down to the restaurant on Christmas Eve for you to give to the reindeer.

If you are a family who celebrates Christmas on different days, the app could be used in conjunction with these letters from Santa that help you request a different day for present delivery.

A mum, whose husband worked away a lot, created the letters to help her children understand that Santa will still be able to find them if they were not at home or could visit them on any day.
