She might only be 11-years-old but Ruby Kate Chitsey from Harrison, Arkansas in the US is already a heavyweight in making people happy.
After spending time last summer visiting nursing homes with her mum Amanda, who is a nurse, she decided to grant three wishes for each resident - and has raised over £47,000 in the process.
While in the nursing home she spoke to some of her mum's patients and learned that many elderly people living there rely on Medicaid (a joint federal and state programme to help cover medical costs for people with limited income and resources).
This means aside from room, board and medical care many of the nursing home residents survive on just $40 (£30) a month that is provided by the government for 'extras', and family and friends are expected to fill in the gaps - but many of the ageing residents don't have anyone to come and visit them or provide additional financial support.

These 'extras' includes things like haircuts, dog food or new books to keep their ageing minds active and healthy.
In fact, it was when Ruby Kate found out that one resident had to give up her dog because she could not afford it she decided that she had to help.
That's when she started the 'Three Wishes' project. In a notebook she had left over from the school year, she asked each resident the following:
"If you could have three wishes, what would they be?"
Forget cars, money and bling. Most of the residents' wishes were simple and inexpensive. Some wanted shoes and clothes that fit properly, others wanted comfier bedding, their favourite fast food or snacks they couldn't go out and buy anymore. The loneliest residents even asked for baby dolls to hold.
Ruby Kate and her mum started to raise funds locally to grant wishes. Mum Amanda posted on Facebook, asking if anyone had dolls they could donate and set up an Amazon List for people to buy 'gifts' for the residents (including grabber sticks, Vienna sausages and shearling boots).

Then Amanda started a GoFundMe campaign. She has smashed her $60,000 (£45,000) total and the donations are going up by the second.
Ruby Kate's ultimate goal is to just make people happy and mum, Amanda, couldn't be more proud and hopes to, one day, spread 'Three Wishes' to nursing home residents across the US.
She spoke exclusively to Pretty52 to say: "Glad to see all this inspiring change and bringing a shining light to this amazing population of people."
