Heated Dog Beds Exist Because Dogs Get Cold Too

Everyone complains that they are cold over winter but unfortunately the best boys can't tell you when they're feeling a bit chilly.

So in today's 'delightful news' comes the reassurance that you can actually buy heated dog beds so that you'll never be pinned down by your dog again just so they can stay warm.

The Thermo Snuggly Sleeper by K&H Pet Products will keep your beloved pooches all snug as the temperature starts to drop.

To keep your dog comfortable the 6-watt heated dog bed adjusts to your dogs body temperature so will be perfect for them to nap on.

As well as keeping your pet comfortable the heat is also great for those with arthritis or joint problems.

One size is available on Amazon for £102.13 at 26 inch by 20 inch, or there is a larger size on the K&H website for £113 ($145.99).

As an added bonus the pillow and cover are removable so pet owners can easily wash the material- which is essential with a dog bed.

Pet lovers have been posting some amazing reviews of the product and it sounds like they are perfect for the leader of your household.

One customer wrote: "These beds were a hit right out of the box! I have two beagles and they love snuggling at night. The problem is that they were taking over my bed and I found my space shrinking more and more every night.

"So, I began training my dogs to sleep on their own beds but they would refuse. They destroyed so many beds I can't even count them. Then I found these electric beds and voila! My dogs loved them immediately.

"Just look at the picture! Those are two happy beagles. Because these beds are warm my dogs love snuggling in them and it made the transition from my bed to their beds a breeze."

Another added that the bed is also perfect for cats too: "Bought this for my elderly (19 yr old) cat who has arthritis. He does not jump up onto things much anymore so I bought this so I could put it on the floor and he would have the walls to curl against. He must have super glued himself to it because he is always in it now. He loves the heat - probably helps with the arthritis."
